Course Description:                                                                                                     

Contains up to date research on the diversity of end-of-life care with an emphasis on the communication skills needed when approaching end-of-life care descision making for patients and their family members during their grieving.  Describes the Science and the Art of End-of-Life while discussing the Bioethics of End-of-Life Care Decisions.  By gaining an understanding of why patients accept or reject End-of-Life Care, the attendee will be better able to commuicate with their patients about End-of-Life Care options.
